IIAN & ANNA’s Wedding in Vietnam

There are some weddings that stay with you long after the last photograph has been taken.

Not simply because the images turned out beautifully, but because, as a photographer, you feel that you were given the privilege of witnessing something deeply personal and real: the story of two people, and of everyone they love.

For us, IIAN and ANNA’s wedding was one of those days.

From the quiet moments with their families, the looks exchanged between parents, the hugs shared with the bride, and the carefree energy of the children, to the moment IIAN and ANNA walked into their ceremony, danced together, and eventually lost themselves in the energy of the celebration, everything unfolded naturally.

There was very little that felt staged.
And yet, there was so much emotion.

We found ourselves especially drawn to the ordinary, fleeting moments throughout the day.

A spontaneous hug.
A smile breaking through a conversation.
Children running freely through the garden.
A friend raising a glass in celebration.
The room slowly filling with light, music, laughter, and movement.

Those moments were not planned. They simply happened.

And perhaps that is what made the evening so beautiful. It felt like everyone was completely present, enjoying the kind of night where, if given the choice, you would probably ask time to slow down just a little.

Because in the end, a wedding is never only about two people.

It is about the family they come from, the friends who have walked alongside them, the relationships they have built over the years, and the people who have travelled from far away to Vietnam simply to be there for one important day.

IIAN & ANNA, thank you for trusting us to stand behind the cameras on such an important day.

Thank you for giving our team the freedom to observe, to move quietly through the celebration, and to look for moments rather than manufacture them.

That trust allowed us to tell your story through what was genuinely happening around us: honest, energetic, occasionally a little chaotic, but incredibly beautiful.

And to your families and friends, thank you too.

Thank you for every hug, every smile, every glance, every toast, every word of love, and even those wonderfully ordinary moments that you probably didn’t realize we were photographing.

IIAN & ANNA, thank you for letting us into your story.

From Vietnam, we are sending a little piece of that day back to you.

Not simply photographs of a wedding, but photographs of a family, a love story, a circle of friends, and a day that so many people came together to create.

May the years ahead bring you quiet mornings, new places to discover, long dinners with family, children growing up surrounded by laughter, and countless reasons to look at each other with the same eyes you had on that day.

Thank you, IIAN & ANNA.

It was an honor to be there, to witness it, and to photograph it. 🤍
